LinkVion 0.1.0.24 — vision detection models, RTSP cameras, HTTPS, three new samples

Detection models that find people and objects, RTSP video from IP cameras, HTTPS with phone-camera barcode scanning, and three new bundled samples (beta).

LinkVion 0.1.0.24 was released on 2026-10-30 (beta). Here is what changed.

New

  • Vision detection models — Upload a model file that finds people or objects under Vision › Detection models, bind it to an inspection recipe, and send box counts and top scores to tags, PLCs and alarms. There are now 51 inspection tools. Limits per model: 32 MiB and 4 threads on the LinkVion Box (CM4), 128 MiB and 8 threads on Windows. No model ships with the product, and detection results are not a certified safety function.
  • RTSP cameras — The release packages receive RTSP (H.264) video from IP cameras: up to 6 on the LinkVion Box, and on Windows and Mac by core count (cores × 2, 6 to 32).
  • HTTPS · phone-camera scanning — The gateway opens HTTPS (8443 by default) alongside HTTP. On screens opened over HTTPS a phone camera can read barcodes into a tag. Continuous input from Bluetooth or USB barcode scanners is taken without pressing a button.
  • Three new bundled samples — Person detection, barcode cart and downtown traffic CCTV viewer, taking the bundled samples from 20 to 23. The person-detection model and images are supplied by the user.

Fixed

  • Modbus settings — data type, word order, unit ID, bulk add, duplicate addresses, UDP transport
  • OPC UA — account login on the None-security endpoint, saving the client fallback form, certificate creation
  • Alarm rules — reused numbers of deleted rules, and new rules overwriting saved ones after a restart
  • LinkVion Box — a service setting that reduces memory growth seen on long runs

Telegram notices were left out of this release while a settings-path defect is fixed; the fix ships in the next release (see Telegram alarm notices).
